In 1933, the Italian citizen Carlo Mario Camusso founded in Lima a small factory shop conceived to manufacture silver objects. He combined the rich peruvian silver craftsmanship with the refined european style and his own inborn skill to transform silver into delicate pieces. The combination of these three elements has been the base for what was going to become through the years a well renowned company.
Three generations of the Camusso family have directed the development of the company with one common objective: "transform silver into pieces of art". Under this philosophy, Camusso has become synonymous of exclusiveness and guarantee, thus giving to the objects added value and recognition.
After Mr. Camusso, and already over 70 years of existence, the company was directed by Siro Tonani Ricci - former President of the Board of Directors. He continued the ideals of the founder placing the company at an important international level.

Camusso Production Process
Several steps are followed by Camusso to give the product its unique beauty. Production undergoes melting, stamping and hand chiseling, which is hand made by skilled peruvian craftsmen. Their polishing and galvanic processes are also part of their manufacturing, and each step undergoes tight quality control, so as to insure beauty and perfection. All of it is done to give the appropriate personal Camusso touch to their products, which embrace the past and present, as well as a sense of future.
Today Camusso manufactures more than 3,600 objects from flatware, tea sets, plates and platters, to all kind of decorative items and personal accessories. Without distinction, there is always the wish to stamp the artistic touch that characterizes high quality silver craftsmanship.
They produce an immense variety of styles that go from harmonic plain ones with modern decorations, to more elaborated works that fit into traditional environments.
